Race 1 – TAB Plate (1100m)

From Within (1st) – Doesn’t get a lot easier than that, backed as if unbeatable she jumped well to lead and kicked strongly turning to put a gap on them. Eased right down the last 100m, could have easily been a 10 length win. Her trials leading into this were good and she can be followed this preparation with a lot of confidence.

Race 2 – Schweppes Handicap (1100m)

Spending To Win (1st) – Another well tried in betting. Caught a touch wide at the start and pushed to cross and sit outside the leader, on straightening ran straight past the warm favourite to win well. He was in strong races last preparation and looks to have come up well. Keep following

Race 3 – New Years Eve Handicap (1250m)

Notes: Favourite My True Love was unable to lead as it had at its previous two starts. Wait till drawn wide and able to cross to lead before backing again, as it raced like a different horse taking a sit.

Race 4 – TAB Highway Handicap (1250m)

Atom Eve (1st) – Excellent first up victory and heavily backed. Defied the on-pace pattern with a strong finish down the centre of the track to keep her excellent winning record going. She’s a winner and can continue to be followed.

Race 5 – #theraces Handicap (1900m)

Nothing of note in this race.

Race 6 – TAB Rewards Handicap (1550m)

Duca Valentinois (3rd) – Trapped wide in the run, so commenced a run a long way out from home and battled away well to hold third spot. Is limited and abit tricky to catch but its run was very good this time and don’t let it go around next start without you on it

Race 7 – Canterbury Classic (1200m)

His Majesty (4th) – Held the fence on a very hot pace and kicked strongly down the straight, was entitled to knock up but fought on bravely to hold 4th, was only second-up and now looks ready to win.

Race 8 – tab.com.au Handicap (1200m)

Mediterranean (10th) – A drifter in betting and ran accordingly. Settled back towards the tail and never sighted in the straight. He was entitled to make some ground up the running as the pace of the race was good. Keen to look at steward’s report.

Race 9 – Australian Turf Club Handicap (1200m)

Raiment (2nd) – Sat just behind the pace and was unable to get a crack at the winner until very late. One more stride and it wins. Both runs this preparation have been very good and was heavily tried late in betting. Suggest we can keep following her and she will be winning for us this very soon.
