Race 1 – Manion Cup (2400m)

Allergic (3rd) – Not sure he really handles the heavy going, never really looked a winning chance and easily beaten in the end, however battled into third. Peaks in fitness and if he can find a firmer track at his next start he will go around over the odds. His best form on firmer tracks is very good.

Race 2 – TAB Birthday Card Stakes (1200m)

Raiment (1st) – Showed last preparation she could handle a wet track and put them all to the sword today. Jumped to sit outside the leader and never looked like losing. Starting to build an imposing record and is still on the up. More wins this preparation coming up.

Race 3 – Derby Munro Stakes (1200m)

Nothing of note in this race.

Race 4 – Ranvet Stakes (1400m)

Hartnell (2nd) – Big drifter in betting and a long way back in the run. The bottomless heavy track is not his go but stuck to the task well to fill a place. Class act on his day and another who, if he can find a firm track, is ready to show his best.

Race 5 – George Ryder (1500m)

Le Romain (2nd) – Sat just behind the leader and if you take Winx out this race he has beaten the rest comfortably. Racing in fantastic form this preparation with 2 wins and now a second, and will continue to be hard to beat in anything else he contests.

Race 6 – Rosehill Guineas (2000m)

Anaheim (4th) – Easy in betting and got a long way back in the run. Hooked out wide down the straight and made many lengths on the winner, and was one of the strongest on the line. Looks a real stayer and can handle all surface conditions. One to keep an eye on in the Derby.

Race 7 – Golden Slipper (1400m)

She Will Reign (1st) – Marked drifter in betting, this high class 2YO stuck to the inside and was just too strong for them in the straight to record an excellent victory. She is the dominant 2YO of this season. Those who stuck strong to the horses to follow were rewarded with the luxury price.  Look forward to her next preparation.

Race 8 – The Galaxy (1100m)

Russian Revolution (1st) – Heavily backed ($4.2 – $2.9) and raced midfield and wide for majority of the race. In a real slugging finish the colt just overhauled the stablemate Redzel. Big win! Looks to have come back in very good fashion and can continue to be followed this preparation.

Race 9 – Epona Stakes (1900m)

Nothing of note in this race.

Race 10 – Championships Qualifier (1200m)

Pomelo (1st) – Jumped quickly to cross and lead, into the straight she put five lengths on the field in a flash. Flying this preparation and will be hard to beat in the final. Keep following as she is a city class performer.
