The playoff battle in the East is heating up, with one win separating 6th to 9th entering the final week of games.

Our man has been rock solid since joining us, going 35-22 in his NBA betting tips. He has three more recommendations for today’s action.

Boston Celtics @ Miami Heat - 10:30am

The battle for the bottom three seeds in the Eastern Conference is as tight as ever.

One game separates 6th from 9th, so it’s anyone’s guess right now who will miss out on playoffs.

Every game is huge for Miami given they play some top tier teams the rest of the way. Any wins are welcome and this game is as important as any others.

Miami have been better on the road than at home this season, but are coming off a super March where they lost just four games for the month.

They’ll be looking to bounce back on their home floor after falling to the Celtics just two days ago.

The Celtics, meanwhile, are fighting for home court advantage in the playoffs. They currently share a 46-32 record with the Pacers, who will be their first round match-up regardless.

Getting home court is imperative for Boston as they boast a 28-12 record at TD Garden.

Al Horford and Kyrie Irving tortured the Heat two days ago, including a triple-double for Horford.

The Celtics won this match-up two days ago, and in the NBA on a back-to-back against the same team, the losing team always seems to fight back.

Miami with the line of +5.5 at $1.82 with Unibet looks to be the best value.

San Antonio Spurs @ Denver Nuggets - 12pm (ESPN)

A win here is crucial for a Nuggets team that has lost some form recently.

They have been left vulnerable to the Rockets in the second seed position. The gap is down to just 1.5 games with four to play, so fair to say that Denver needs a win.

And what better team to beat than one who might end up being their first round playoffs opposition.

San Antonio have the biggest differential of wins at home versus away, which doesn’t bode well here in a trip to Colorado.

That said, LaMarcus Aldridge has been in ripping form over the last month, averaging 23 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks per game, while the Spurs were in fine form through March.

The Nuggets are priced at $1.62 with Unibet to win this game, and I think they bounce back here.

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Clippers - 1:30pm

The Rockets have made a late surge up the standings and currently sit 4th in the Western Conference, tied for 3rd with the Portland Trailblazers.

Winning games is important, but sometimes games mean a little extra.

Last time they played in LA, chaos ensued on and off the court, culminating in a Chris Paul-led raid on the Clippers locker room by the Rockets.

This will be fun to watch.

This Clippers team is well-coached and very organised, led by Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams on court.

These two could potentially face each other in the playoffs so learning your opponent is important. A 25-13 home record will give the Clippers confidence heading in.

However the Rockets to win is priced at $2.02 with Unibet and I can’t go past that.

Today’s Tips:

Miami Heat +5.5 – $1.82

Denver Nuggets to win – $1.62

Houston Rockets to win – $2.02

All markets available with Unibet.
