Free racing tips July 2: Mark Rhoden (NSW Winners) at Hawkesbury.
Not only does Mark cover all NSW metro meetings for NSW Winners members, he also provides his best selections for provincial meetings as well.
Gosford, Newcastle, Wyong, Hawkesbury and Kembla Grange are all covered. This typically adds another two meetings per week on top of metro racing. It’s just another reason why Mark’s NSW Winners package is great value.
Free Racing Tips July 2: NSW Winners
Mark’s thoughts on Kembla Grange, as sent to members earlier this morning:
At Hawkesbury today, I’m not completely sure how the track is going to play. At the last meeting there on a 4m rail, and we saw an inside bias which is almost unheard of at Hawkesbury when it’s rain affected. I’m not expecting that to be the case today with the rail back in the true but it does muddy the waters. In any event, our one bet today will be on pace. So it get its chance to find the right part of the track if it’s an issue.
Race 7 #4 Special Date: currently $3.50 with TopSport
The speedy filly Special Date was good in all three runs in her first prep for this stable last time in. The concern is that they were all in 900m races. But I really liked the way she fought on when headed by the smart Covert Ops in her last run at Newcastle – the fact that she kept fighting and beat her other rivals comfortably that day is a promising sign. Impossible to knock her trials and she’s backable odds. Snitzinnati has also trialled well and is the danger. But if Special Date can bring her 900m form at 1000m I think she’ll be hard to get past.
