Free racing tips June 25: Mark Rhoden (NSW Winners) at Kembla Grange.
Not only does Mark cover all NSW metro meetings for NSW Winners members, he also provides his best selections for provincial meetings as well.
Gosford, Newcastle, Wyong, Hawkesbury and Kembla Grange are all covered so this typically adds another two meetings per week on top of metro racing. It’s just another reason why Mark’s NSW Winners package is great value.
Free Racing Tips June 25: NSW Winners
Mark’s thoughts on Kembla Grange, as sent to members earlier this morning:
A soft 6 at Kembla today with the rail still out 8m – on pace preferred but not essential, and with a drier track than we’ve seen compared to recent meetings there, they may not be getting as wide in the straight today. One betting race today, I have Doctor Mancini (R3) and Constanzia (R8) on top but a bit short to back (would want at least 2.50 and 4.80 respectively).
Race 7 #6 Charm Offensive: currently $5.50 with TopSport
Charm Offensive’s best run last prep was third-up at 1300m, but he’s raced well at 1000m fresh in the past and coming off an impressive six-length trial win I see no reason to penalise him too much. The inside draw isn’t ideal but he has a good provincial jockey in Keagan Latham on board and he’s certainly backable odds. Stone Cold, Dizzy Miss Lizzy and Matowatakpe are the main dangers but Charm Offensive is my top pick and I’m happy to be on.
Elsewhere today…
The AFL and NRL Line Ladders are up for this week. The highlight looks to be two NRL teams which the market is getting wrong in recent rounds… and they clash this week. Sounds like a recipe for value!
What’s fairly common across the board at this time of year? Wet tracks…
Some punters just put away the form guide and skip racing altogether. Other punters battle on… and some even thrive. Dean Evans is in the latter group, having some amazing winter results over a number of years. So we asked him for his key wet track pointers… read them here.
