Randwick Quaddie Preview
Bryan is back with his Randwick Quaddie tips for Saturday, going with some fat legs in the hunt for a collect.
Race 6 – 1600m
#1 Encryption (James Cummings / Hugh Bowman)
Tough run in the Sires, worked hard on a good speed.
#2 Long Leaf (Hayes & Dabernig / Kerrin McEvoy)
Battled it out well in the Sires. 1600m shouldn’t be a worry.
#6 Irukandji (Team Hawkes / Corey Brown)
Comes from a different form line. Was a tough win in Baillieu.
#7 Bondi (Peter & Paul Snowden / Mark Zahra)
Another to work hard in the Sires. Have to include.
Race 7 – 1400m
#2 Brave Smash (Darren Weir / Mark Zahra)
Not flash last start, but up to 1400m with cosy run helps here.
#3 Hartnell (James Cummings / Hugh Bowman)
Can be in and out, but very capable when right.
#8 Tom Melbourne (Chris Waller / Kerrin McEvoy)
Back to 1400m with a cosy run will guarantee a big run here.
#10 Trapeze Artist (Gerald Ryan / Tye Angland)
Seems short but dynamic when at his best. Has to be in the quaddie.
#12 The Mission (Paul Perry / Brenton Avdulla)
Did go well in the TJ, and won this day last year. Value.
Race 8 – 2000m
#1 Arbeitsam (Waterhouse & Bott / Adam Hyeronimus)
Went great in the Donnie and comes here hard fit now.
#7 Maurus (John Thompson / Corey Brown)
Third-up this stable is a bonus, and did go well chasing home Arbeitsam latest.
#9 Radipole (Michael Moroney / Kerrin McEvoy)
Stepping up to 2000m, but I’m sure he’s ready for it.
#10 Cool Chap (Hayes & Dabernig / Damien Oliver)
Also out of the Donnie where he went well, and has handled 2000m previously.
#16 Nettoyer (Wendy Roche / Brenton Avdulla)
May not get a run but has to be in the quad if she does. Will win a good race one day.
Race 9 – 1400m
#3 Snippets Land (Peter & Paul Snowden / Blake Shinn)
Battled on well along the worse going last start.
#6 Our Century (Kim Waugh / Mark Zahra)
Worth throwing in at massive odds. Definitely not out of this race.
#7 Osborne Bulls (James Cummings / Brenton Avdulla)
Looks short but has a great turn of foot and has to go in.
#8 Black On Gold (Chris Waller / Hugh Bowman)
Has looked okay in trials and did win well enough first-up last prep.
#9 Harpers Choice (Gerald Ryan / Joshua Parr)
Went well first-up in Group 2 last year. Looked very good in trial.
#11 Special Missile (John Thompson / Damien Oliver)
Ready now third-up and will roll forward.
#14 Tribal Wisdom (Michael Moroney / Kerrin McEvoy)
Had tough run last start. Looks to get it much better here.
Leg 1 – 1, 2, 6, 7
Leg 2 – 3, 8, 10, 12
Leg 3 – 7, 9, 10, 16
Leg 4 – 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 14
