RIODINI is racing in terrfic spirit this prep. He did everything but win last start behind Verry Elleegant, and though drawn wide I think he can cross down and get an okay run. Can he keep going to the well though?
HUNGRY HEART maps a bit wide, but has McEvoy on board and he should be able to find a way to get her in. She’s been good in both runs back this prep and is ready to peak now.
MOUNGA is hitting new highs this prep as he shows us what he’s made of, and I think he can improve here again third up. Loves it here, goes well.
CASCADIAN wasn’t suited at all with the way the track ended up playing in the George Main, He’s much better suited by the prospect of a fairer track here with the ability to run on. If he drifts a bit I want to be on.
ARAMAYO has been good in his last couple off a short spell. He will stand them a big start on the map but is racing well.
DISCHARGED is a roughie with a chance, especially if they lead – which I think they will and try to pinch it. He was good last start and can improve again. Gai Waterhouse written all over this one!
DALASAN is third-up and fitter and should be ready to peak. His best run was here at the mile in the Doncaster last year and I presume for that reason they’ll have set him for this. Ready.
PRIVATE EYE is racing well this prep. On my figures he does need to find a new level to win here but that’s not out of the question. Maps well.
STAR OF THE SEAS has been good in his last couple as he improves into this prep. He is a seven-year-old now but can improve again and is a knockout chance at a price.
