Rosehill Quaddie Preview

NSW Winners pro-punter Mark Rhoden brings you his Rosehill Quaddie tips for this Saturday’s meeting.

Race 6 – TAB.com.au Handicap (1500m)

Selections: 2, 9, 11, 12

First try past 1400 for Suncraze (2), but can improve returning to Sydney. Arraignment (9) may prefer soft ground, but has a good jockey change and will get his chance on the speed. Notio (11) comes into this off a soft trial with blinkers added. Can win. Watchdog (12) had its chance in easier race last start, but drops in weight and has the blinkers on here.

Race 7: Rosehill Bowling Club Sprint (1100m)

Selections: 3, 6, 7, 9

Sir Plush (3) is an enigmatic horse who has trialled nicely and has a very good Rosehill record. Dissolute (6) put in a good effort at its first run for this stable, and can be competitive again. Isaurian (7) is drawn for a better run here and has a good jockey change, not a flash price but must include. Jorda (9) is a definite chance on her best form and could find it returning to Sydney, worth including at the price.

Race 8: Australian Turf Club Sprint (1200m)

Selections: 5, 12

Seasons (5) has the potential to win better races than this, clearly the one to beat. Ready To Prophet (12) is a promising filly who is trialling very well, and looks the only danger to the favourite.

Race 9: #TheRaces Handicap (1300m)

Selections: 1, 11

Newsfan (1) ran outstanding sectionals in a dominant first-up display, and only needs to repeat that to be the one to beat again. Southern Lad (11) has a brilliant turn of foot. Will be giving away a start from the gate but a definite chance.

Since September 2017, Mark Rhoden has more than doubled the starting bank with over $12,500 profit.
