Quaddie tips for Rosehill

Rail out 6m and we get a firm track. Rails in run most likely the place to be, so these quaddie selections anticipate that likely advantage. But if it’s playing differently after the first few races then you should re-consider the below:

Race 6 (1400m – 3YO Group 3)

#4 Sambro (Ford / Waller)
Kept improving last prep. Trials fine this time. Needs to improve here but barrier coud suit.

#5 Addictive Nature (Clark / Baker)
Very strong win 1st up. Then inside draw was against 2nd up but hung on well. Trial since good. Should get a good run on pace.

#7 Runaway (King / Waterhouse & Bott)
Keeps improving. Really good closing splits last start. Slight concern back to 1400m but with jockey on should go forward and get a good run.

#9 Mahalangur (Avdulla / Hawkes)
Trialled well before strong win in very good time at Newcastle. Looks up to the step up in grade.

#10 Thy Kingdom Come (? / Thompson)
Showed ability last prep. Resuming at 1400m suits. Looks big odds and a good one to throw into the quaddie.

Race 7 (1400m – 3YO Group 3)

#1 Pariah (Shinn / Snowden)
Best horse in the race. Very good 2yo last prep and trials look even better. Map and how the track is playing are the only concerns but might be good enough to overcome.

#5 Condor Heroes (Clark / Ryan)
Both 1st up runs have been very good. Liked how it took the sit in latest trial, showing more versatility. But has natural speed to a get a good run on pace here.

#10 Jorda (Schofield / Cummings)
Only run was best part of a year ago but it was a solid win. Trials this time in very good and looks to get a perfect run from the draw.

Race 8 (1500m – BM80)

#1 Hogmanay (Magorrian / Waller)
Resumed with a good run hitting the line well. Suited up in distance. Barrier perfect.

#2 Special Missile (McDougall / Thompson)
Racing in good form on pace. Looks to map well again.

#4 The Pharaoh (Ford / Ryan)
Good natural speed and looks the leader. had favours last time but may get them again. Up to 1500m the worry.

#12 Mapmaker (Brown / Martin)
Good run 2nd up behind Special Missile. Should get the perfect run in the box seat here.

Race 9 (1200m – BM95)

#1 Bonny O’Reilly (Clark / Baker)
Class mare in the race. Flies first up, recent trials very good and maps perfectly.

#2 Supreme Effort (Avdulla / Waugh)
Best first up. Trials solid. Should get the suck run from the inside draw.

***** If you want to go wider in the last:

#3 Sir Bacchus – thought about including him in my numbers but gets back and will need pace right on and track playing failry. But good fresh and recent trial solid.
#11 Selita – had favours first up but hung on OK. Looks the leader again and that could really suit.
#12 Be Like Dad – kept improving last prep. This is a step up in grade, but stable are best 1st up and recent trial good.
