Race 7 - BM84 Handicap (1400m)

Selections: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 15

Silentz (4) had no luck first-up when badly held up in straight. Looks better suited here on big track and out to 1400m. Superhard (5) is racing well and may have found the mile too hard last start. Better suited back to 1400m. Chippenham (6) is consistent type racing well, and generally runs to figure. Haunted (8) was well held in a good race last start. First two runs for prep were terrific, can improve off last start. Mr Money Bags (9) ran well first-up down the straight. Step up to 1400m suits. Wenner (10) put in an okay effort first-up. Terrific record at this distance, likely improver. Muraahib (15) is racing consistently. Failed last start in Sydney but can bounce back here.

Race 8 - Ballarat Cup (2200m)

Selections: 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 20

Life Less Ordinary (1) is racing well. Good effort on quick back-up on Cup Day over the shorter trip. Will get home hard. Another Coldie (3) is in career-best form. Steps out to 2200m for the first time, but will get a nice run from the barrier. Kiwia (5) was unlucky last week when held up in the straight. Quick back-up here which looks a positive, ready to run to best. Luvaluva (7) ran well last start in Group mares race. Looks suited here. One More Try (10) is unbeaten this prep. Steps to 2200m for the first time but is racing well. Lycurgus (12) put in a good effort second-up at Flemington. Best over slightly further, but can improve off last start here. Lucky For All (20) had improved each run this prep until last start, when the saddle slipped in total forget run. Looks ready to peak.

Race 9 - Magic Millions 3&4YO Classic (1100m)

Selections: 1, 3, 5, 6

Bel Sonic (1) resumes here. Is good fresh and will get home hard. Usain Bowler (3) is fresh here and has trialled nicely. Good figures last prep. Platinum Angel (5) was terrific first-up at Caulfield, then pulled up with an issue next start. Has had seven weeks off and should be ready to go now. As It Lies (6) was an impressive winner first-up over this trip. Got a little lost down straight last start. Can run to new best here.

Race 10 - Tonks Plate (1200m)

Selections: 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 11

Jungle Edge (1) comes back from Group races to Open handicap. Gets in well with claim. Way down in class. Chamois Road (2) is a consistent horse who generally returns the same figure, which is good enough for this. Stellar Collision (3) ran well first-up. Second-up struggled down the straight but prepared to forgive. Can bounce back here on home track. Snitzkraft (5) put in a good effort first-up, running on nicely, before also struggling down the straight. Better suited here. Working From Home (8) failed first up, when went to0 hard. Good effort second-up then also failed down the straight. Can run to near-best here Man From Uncle (10) was never likely down the straight. Previous runs were okay. Has claims here. Suspense (11) resumes here. Runs honestly first-up and has trialled nicely.
