Race 6 - TAB/ATA Celebrates Women Trainers Handicap (1400m)

#2 Divine Mr Artie (Brendan McCarthy / Dwayne Dunn)
Stays at 1400m, last start was never likely when got back in pace dominated race. Has run well over this track and distance previously.

#5 Barthelona (Michael Moroney / Lachlan King)
Solid win two starts ago at this distance. Just had to work a bit early lasts start, can bounce back here.

#6 Painte (Darren Weir / Ethan Brown)
Has had two runs back from spell, never likely in either run. Can improve dramatically third-up out to this trip.

#12 See Me Fly (Ellerton & Zahra / Damien Thornton)
Racing consistently. Won over slightly shorter trip two starts ago.

#14 Mantastic (Darren Weir / Dean Yendall)
Overseas galloper having first start for Weir. Trialed okay, has claims if well found in market.

#15 Overstep (Chris Waller / Craig Newitt)
Battled away well two starts ago over this trip. Held ground in straight last start.

#17 Lord Tennyson (Peter Chow / Luke Nolen)
Racing well this prep. Comes right into calculations if track is rain affected.

#18 Emoji (Grahame Begg / Zac Spain)
Consistent galloper who bounced back to near best form last start. Can hold rating here.

#20 Miss Adequate (Danny O’Brien / TBC)
Ran okay when resuming off short break last start. Better suited here second-up.

Race 7 - Rod Johnson Handicap (1400m)

#1 Amovatio (Chris Waller / Ethan Brown)
Racing well without much luck. Just needs clear running in straight to hit line hard.

#3 Morton’s Fork (James Cummings / Regan Bayliss)
Produced career peak last start prior to spell. Has trialed well leading into this. Doesn’t have to run near best to be competitive.

#7 Ozi Choice (Darren Weir / Dean Yendall)
Ran well first-up at Warrnamboiol. No luck last start down straight. Better suited over this distance.

#10 Miss Gunpowder (Hayes & Dabernig / Lachlan King)
Won well three starts ago. Last two slightly disappointing, but doesn’t have to run to Bendigo run to have a chance.

Race 8 - Henry Bolte Handicap (2000m)

#1 Masculino (Mick Price / Zac Spain)
Ridden back last start then held-up last start before hitting line hard. Quick backup here out to 2000m but has claims.

#3 Greycliffe (Matt Cumani / Dwayne Dunn)
Ran well three starts ago. Worked too hard after that then sat wide last start. Can run to near best here

#4 Mazzuro (Paul Richards / Jye McNeil)
Improving type who ran well last start at big odds. No reason why can’t repeat that here

#7 Mr Monaco (Richard Laming / Brian Park)
Came through same race as Mazzuro and hit line hard. Can repeat here.

#9 Black And Tan (John Moloney / Regan Bayliss)
Has run well last couple of races over shorter trips. Always running on, so 2000m may suit.

Race 9 - Ron Taylor Handicap (1000m)

#1 Despatch (Tony McEvoy / Beau Mertens)
Resumed off long spell this prep with solid win. Has won well past two starts. Given five weeks freshen up for this, can hold rating here.

#3 Ducimus (Darren Weir / Dean Yendall)
Resumes for Weir. Former Hawkes galloper. Produced best rating down straight as a two-year-old.

#6 King’s Authority (Mick Price / Noel Callow)
Ran soundly first-up at Sandown over this trip. Can hold rating here.

#7 Roddandtodd (Daniel Bowman / Declan Bates)
Running well. Consistent galloper was running well before spell. Been good down the straight in past.

#11 Tarcoola Spirit (Jason Warren / Stephen Baster)
Excellent run last start when hit line hard over slightly longer. Comes back in trip but has claims here.

#12 Miss Leonidas (Shaun Dwyer / Dwayne Dunn)
Funny run at Bendigo when missed start before railing through for clear run. Produced massive spike, may not hold that here, but still has claims.
