Our man is back with another betting preview after going a perfect 2/2 on Wednesday.
He’s now at 24-16 overall since joining us and has 3 more plays for Friday’s action.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Charlotte Hornets - 10am
The Timberwolves are one of the worst away teams in the NBA, and they’ve lost 12 of their last 13 on the road.
That sole win came at Madison Square Garden against the lowly New York Knicks. It’s safe to say the T’Wolves don’t travel well at all.
Karl Anthony-Towns has been the shining light for Minnesota, averaging 32 points and 14 rebounds over the last month. Charlotte are weak up top so he’ll look to take advantage here.
The Hornets are 3-7 in their last 10 and have fallen out of playoff contention. Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb are going to put up 40 a night between them, but they’re really the only two danger men on this team.
The Hornets head to head at $1.64 with Unibet is good value for me. Walker will light them up and the T’Wolves will have no answer for him away from their home floor.
Dallas Mavericks @ Sacramento Kings - 1pm
Dallas are putting on a good show of being competitive whilst still managing to lose games. Their last six losses have been by less than six points.
A pair of one-point losses to the high-flying Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets show they can compete with the best, but are too inconsistent. I think there will be more of the same here, especially as the Mavericks have failed to convert wins away from home all season.
The Kings would be fuming right now after leading by 25 points at three-quarter time and losing to Brooklyn on their home court. D’Angelo Russell had 27 in the fourth quarter alone to make things worse for the Kings.
A 21-15 home record and coming off a loss like that leads you to believe they’ll bounce back in convincing fashion. No injury news is a good sign as the Kings try to finish with their best record in 7 years.
I’m taking Dallas +9.5 with Unibet. It’s a big line for the Mavericks which I think they’ll be able to cover despite being on the road.
Indiana Pacers @ Golden State Warriors - 1:30pm
The Pacers away woes continue on this tough Western road trip, and the Warriors at home is not going to be any easier.
The Pacers are starting to wear thin without Victor Oladipo as they’re hot month has come to an end. They look more like a team that is going to fall across the line to get to the playoffs. Whoever they play will have an easier matchup than they should.
The Golden State Warriors bounced back as Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 70 points between them in their dismantling of the Timberwolves.
An injury to DeMarcus Cousins you think would cause an issue, but big man Andrew Bogut has slotted back in nicely to their line-up. The Australian big man provides a toughness that the Warriors needed on defense with hard screens and big blocks.
I don’t often take teams to beat the spread but the Warriors -8.5 at $1.83 with Unibet looks too good to be true.
The Pacers just look beat to me and it’s been a long road trip. The Warriors should make a mess of them.
Charlotte Hornets to win – $1.64
Dallas Mavericks +9.5 – $1.93
Golden State Warriors -8.5 – $1.83
All markets available with Unibet.
