It was a case of ‘2/3 ain’t bad’ for our man on Wednesday, taking his overall record to 31-18 since joining us.

He’s got 2 more NBA betting plays for today’s matches, featuring the Thunder as they look to recapture their best form in time for the playoffs.

Portland Trail Blazers @ Chicago Bulls - 11am

The big news for Portland ahead of this one is the injury to Jusuf Nurkic.

In the midst of a career-best season, suffering a gruesome broken leg will be demoralising for a Trail Blazers team tipped to go deep into the playoffs.

Two of their three best players are now sitting on the sidelines with CJ McCollum also currently injured.

As a result, this game might not be as lopsided as the standings would indicate. That said, a lot rests on Damian Lillard if the Blazers are going to bring this one home.

Due to the tight nature of positions 4th-8th in the Western Conference standings, they need every win they can get.

The Chicago Bulls had a rest day in Toronto, with Lauri Markkanen leaving with illness at half time and both Zach Lavine and Otto Porter Jr.  not suiting up.

It’s good for their bench with a lot of these players playing for their careers, meaning they have to make their minutes count. They could make this harder than expected for Portland.

It seems to me a ‘pick your own’ line of +8.5 at $1.78 for Chicago to cover the spread with a bunch of guys playing their hearts out is the way to go. You can get on with Unibet.

Indiana Pacers @ Oklahoma City Thunder - 11am

The Pacers absolutely smacked the Nuggets into next week at home in their recent outing, winning by almost 40 points.

They needed to bounce back, and they did in style, snapping a five-game losing streak at home.

However the Pacers haven’t won a game against a Western Conference team on the road since the 28th of November against Phoenix. That’s a shocking statistic that they’ll be hoping to rectify.

I have an interesting theory about the Thunder’s recent form. I legitimately think OKC are tanking for what they think is a more favourable playoff match-up.

They’ve now lost five of their last six outings, capping it off with a simply embarrassing loss to Memphis without Mike Conley.

The Nuggets are currently the 2nd seed in the West, and the Thunder could well see this as their easiest path through the first round.

At home, they’ll be looking to win this one.

The Pacers’ struggles on the road and with OKC much better in their own gym, I’m taking the Thunder at the -5.5 points line at $1.90 with Unibet.

Today’s Tips:

Chicago Bulls +8.5 – $1.78

OKC Thunder -5.5 – $1.90
