Our man is boasting a 32-19 record since joining us, and he’s got three more NBA betting tips ahead of today’s action.
The Magic and the Pistons are fighting for their playoff lives, while three of the best sides in the league are in action as well.
Orlando Magic @ Detroit Pistons - 10am
The Orlando Magic are on a high, having won six games on the trot for the first time in nine years. That’s an awfully long time in basketball terms.
It’s been 738 games since the last time the Magic enjoyed a stretch like this, and for a franchise that’s been through hell in recent years it’s great to see.
Making it seven straight here would push them above Detroit in the playoff standings and possibly above the Nets as well, jumping into 6th spot. This is a huge game for the franchise.
The Pistons have lost three straight themselves, however all of those games were on the road.
A 23-13 home record stands in their favour as they look to bounce back from their small losing streak and keep a grip on their playoff spot.
Blake Griffin has been so good at the Pistons and he turned it on in the second half against the Nuggets scoring 22 points to almost resurrect the Pistons from a 26 point deficit.
Orlando is hot right now, and they’re currently priced at $2.30 to beat the Pistons with Unibet. That’s too good for me to resist.
Denver Nuggets @ Houston Rockets - 11am
The Denver Nuggets just reached 50 wins for the first time since the 2012-2013 season.
Their away record isn’t horrible by any stretch at 19-17, but it pales in comparison to their impressive 31-6 home record.
Jamal Murray is going to be the important player here, given he’s capable of getting hot in a hurry and this one could become an absolute shootout.
The Rockets have had the wood over the Nuggets in recent times, winning nine of their last 10 matchups.
However, the Nuggets won the most recent meeting in Denver.
James Harden has been down on his high standards recently, scoring just 21 and 26 points in his last 2 games.
That does not bode well for the Nuggets, and Harden could well get off the leash against them.
The Rockets gone blown out yesterday. In my opinion they win this but at $1.48 they’re too short.
To me it’s smarter to take the Nuggets +9.5 with the ‘Pick Your Own Line’ market at the same price with Unibet.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Milwaukee Bucks - 11am
Predicted to win only 33 games this season, the Clippers have easily surpassed this mark by already clinching a playoff berth with nine games remaining.
The unselfish nature of their team and career best form for Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams has provided scoring in bunches that has been tough to stop.
This is probably the best ‘team’ in the NBA who have completely bought into their coaches system and play for their teammates.
A very consistent road team with a 23-17 means they don’t lose any sleep playing the league leading Milwaukee Bucks away from home. No doubt Williams is going to test the depth of the Bucks bench.
The Bucks are sitting pretty at 56-19 with by the far the best record in the NBA this season.
They’ve dropped games recently due to depth issues, and when Giannis doesn’t play and with the injuries they have, it’s not a great looking team.
Giannis should be suiting up here so that isn’t as much a worry, however with no Brogdon, Mirotic or DiVincenzo they’ll have a tough time.
The line is quite big here in my opinion. The Clippers are a very solid team and I’m taking them +8.5 points at $1.91 with Unibet.
Orland Magic to win – $2.30
Denver Nuggets +9.5 – $1.48
LA Clippers +8.5 – $1.91
All markets available with Unibet.
