It’s a monster weekend of Spring racing at Moonee Valley this weekend with two Group 1 races – the Manikato Stakes and Cox Plate.

Victorian pro-punter Trevor Lawson has previewed the field for the Manikato, while adding his thoughts on the Cox Plate.

He likes the chances of #13 Invincible Star at an each-way quote in Friday night’s feature:

First two runs off a long break have been solid, then worked too hard on speed last start before knocking up and pulling up with poor post race recovery.

Obviously Winx is the raging favourite to take out her fourth straight Cox Plate, but are there any challengers?
